SXSW, March 2023.

After SXSW in March 2023, I was thinking about broader questions for tech, workforce development, and AI:

What innovative programs can we create to build applied AI-related skills, considering exponential AI development and the second and third-order effects of adoption?

Can tools like ChatGPT-powered software empower small businesses to close their knowledge and tech skills gaps, leading to increased upskilling and reskilling opportunities in place instead of job losses?

What are the implications of a geopolitically divided global internet on the tech industry and workforce development initiatives?

How can we better collaborate with all stakeholders to redefine education outcomes and establish new success metrics centred around skill development and workforce needs?
